No Superheroines at MET

Traditionally (and I know the life of the blog is very short...) I make some comments about the Costume Institute Gala that every year is celebrated in may in NYC... so this year things cant change although the lack of consistency (as one of my profs will say...) in my posts.
Despite the theme of this year´s gala was Superheroes in Fashion you couldnt see any one walking around the red carpet. The theme didn´t inspired the glamorous guests that opted for a more "classic" look. Even the most daring trendsetters such as MaryKate Olsen gave up to become superheroines. The only one that fit a little bit in the atmosphere was Anna Wintour wearing Chanel Haute Couture...
